My Story

Hi y’all! I’m Nissa-Lynn Parson—a Texas-based Interior Decorator and Brand Influencer with a passion for using creativity to make life more beautiful—especially for my five kids! (Holiday decorating is totally my jam!)

My love for decorating started when I was a little girl styling my Barbie houses. I quickly discovered how much our surroundings impact our mood, productivity, and confidence. That passion led me to earn a BA in Marketing Communications with a minor in Visual Arts from Brigham Young University in 1999, along with an AA in Fine Art from BYU–Idaho in 1997.

After college, I began painting murals in homes and businesses, which grew into launching Nissa-Lynn Interiors in 2010. My services have included interior decorating and design, home staging, and e-design—all based on the belief that everyone deserves a beautiful space, no matter their budget.

In 2015, I expanded into home décor influencing on social media. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with hundreds of brands, using my decorating skills, photography, and content creation to showcase products in beautiful and engaging ways. My journey has taken me to product launches in NYC and Chicagos’s Merchandise Mart, design panels, and collaborations with companies like Target, Hobby Lobby, TikTok, Overstock, Macy’s, and Floor & Decor. My work has been featured in national magazines and catalogs—including a cover and 12-page spread in The Cottage Journal’s Holiday Home issue, along with additional covers and features—as well as on the websites and social media platforms of brands like Better Homes & Gardens, Pottery Barn, and Z Gallerie.

I love sharing easy decorating tips, fun DIYs, and festive party ideas to help others love the space they’re in! Whether you're looking to transform your home or need creative content to elevate your brand, I bring both passion and experience to the table.
