The Leaves are on Fire!

Bringing in rich colors into my fall decor this year! I wanted to create a cozy look with deep reds, oranges, soft yellows and dramatic greens - all the colors found in the beautiful autumn leaves. πŸ‚ I also added more gold touches and of course candles! Candles always create ambiance! So, let’s talk about the candles! When I was decorating I was originally going to use battery operated candles. But then thinking real candies would look more dramatic - I went real. Well….

I was taking photos of this space by my staircase. When I backed up to get a wide angle shot, I saw a really big glow through the lens. I looked up and realized the tallest candle on my table had caught the flowers arrangement on fire! Thank goodness I saw it and put it out before the entire arrangement burst into flames!

Note to self: Always make sure your candles have plenty of space to burn!

A Harvest Entryway Table

Fall entryway decor! Ready to welcome guests on Thanksgiving day!

In most homes the entryway is the first piece of furniture and decor a guest sees when they enter a home. It sets the precedence for what the rest of the home looks and feels like- and can tell a lot abut the people living there.

Always make it an expression of you and your family members.
