We needed a master bedroom refresh! It had been about seven years since the last time we updated our bedroom - so it was definitely time. I kept my larger pieces of furniture; my four poster bed and armoire, but I wanted some new key pieces like an armchair, bedding, and night stands to update the room. I wanted my master bedroom to be light and fresh looking, while elegant and timeless at the same time. I also wanted it to feel beautiful and somewhat regal.
When I started pinning on Pinterest, I realized that most of the photos I was pinning were French country looks and rooms with a glam style. So I decided to incorporate both styles. I knew by going to Overstock, they would have everything I need for one stop shopping. The first thing I fell in love with this Sabine Couture High Wing Chair. It served as my starting point for the room.
From there I chose two new night stands - since our old night stands were given to us by a fellow coworker ten years ago. I found these Parisian Marketplace Bombay Night Stands and they couldn’t be more perfect to go with my French country/glam look.
The bedding we also bought when we lived on a different home -seven years ago. I went with a blush color because to me it’s such a romantic, elegant color. I chose a Madison Park Coverlet Set. I paired the coverlet set with white ruffle Euro Shams and matching duvet.
When I started making the bed, and putting the pieces in place, I was so happy how everything really came together!
